Shipping Policy

At Shipex World, we take reasonable care to ensure that shipments are handled and transported safely and efficiently. The following policy outlines the responsibilities of customers and the terms applicable to our shipping services.

  1. Accurate Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete sender and recipient details, package weight and dimensions, shipment contents, declared value, and all required documentation.

Shipex World shall not be responsible for any loss, delay, penalty, or additional charges resulting from incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by the customer.

  1. Packaging and Shipment Contents

Shipex World provides professional packaging services to help ensure shipments are securely prepared for transportation.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the contents of their shipments, including any fragile, liquid, valuable, perishable, restricted, or sensitive items.

Shipex World shall not be responsible for damage, leakage, deterioration, or loss resulting from the inherent nature of the goods, inaccurate or incomplete information, or prohibited or restricted items.

  1. Damage During Transportation

Shipex World takes reasonable care when handling shipments. However, shipments may be handled by airlines, carriers, customs authorities, security agencies, and other third parties during transportation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shipex World shall not be liable for damage, breakage, leakage, deterioration, shortage, or loss arising from ordinary transportation or handling, customs or security inspections, third-party carrier handling, or circumstances beyond Shipex World’s reasonable control.

Any applicable claim shall be subject to the relevant carrier’s terms, conditions, liability limits, and claim procedures.

  1. Insurance and Shipment Protection

Unless specifically agreed and confirmed in writing, shipment insurance or additional shipment protection is not included in standard shipping charges.

Customers requiring insurance or additional protection must request and purchase the applicable coverage before the shipment is dispatched.

Any insurance claim shall be subject to the applicable provider’s terms, conditions, exclusions, coverage limits, documentation requirements, and claim procedures.

Shipex World shall not be responsible for loss or damage that is not covered under the applicable insurance or carrier protection terms.

  1. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers must not ship illegal, dangerous, prohibited, restricted, undeclared, or improperly declared goods.

Shipments may be inspected, rejected, detained, returned, confiscated, or otherwise dealt with by relevant authorities or carriers.

Any penalties, fines, seizure, loss, damage, legal consequences, or additional charges arising from prohibited, restricted, illegal, or undeclared goods shall be the customer’s responsibility, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  1. Customs Duties, Taxes, and Charges

International shipments are subject to the customs laws and regulations of the origin, transit, and destination countries.

Customs duties, taxes, penalties, storage charges, inspection fees, clearance charges, or other government, customs, or carrier charges shall be payable by the customer or recipient, as applicable.

  1. Delivery Time

Any delivery time provided by Shipex World is an estimated transit time unless a guaranteed delivery service has been specifically confirmed in writing.

Delivery may be delayed due to customs procedures, government authorities, airline or carrier operations, weather conditions, strikes, security checks, documentation issues, incorrect or incomplete information, or other circumstances beyond Shipex World’s reasonable control.

  1. Loss or Damage Claims

Claims relating to loss, damage, shortage, or tampering should be reported promptly and supported by the required documentation.

Where applicable, customers may be required to provide a continuous unboxing video recorded from the time the package is received until the contents are fully opened and inspected.

The unboxing video should clearly show the package, shipping label, external condition of the packaging, package opening, and condition of the contents.

All claims are subject to the applicable carrier’s terms, conditions, liability limits, documentation requirements, and claim deadlines.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shipex World’s liability in relation to a shipment shall be limited to the amount recoverable under the applicable carrier’s liability terms or any separately purchased insurance or declared-value protection.

Shipex World shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunities, or anticipated savings, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

  1. Customs Clearance

Shipex World may assist with customs documentation and clearance procedures where applicable.

However, customs clearance, inspection, detention, release, and acceptance of shipments are controlled by the relevant customs and government authorities.

Shipex World does not guarantee customs clearance, release, acceptance, or delivery within a specific timeframe.

  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customers may request cancellation of a shipment before it has been picked up or processed, subject to the applicable charges and circumstances.

Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • The shipment is cancelled before pickup or processing and no non-refundable service costs have been incurred.
  • A duplicate payment has been made.
  • Payment has been received but Shipex World is unable to provide the booked service.
  • A refund is otherwise approved by Shipex World after reviewing the specific circumstances.

Non-Refundable or Deductible Charges

A full refund may not be available once services or costs have already been incurred. Applicable charges may be deducted from the refund amount, including:

  • Packaging charges
  • Pickup charges
  • Shipping or carrier charges
  • Booking or processing charges
  • Customs or clearance charges
  • Payment gateway or transaction charges
  • Storage, return, or handling charges
  • Any other third-party or service-related costs already incurred

No refund will generally be provided for delays, failed delivery attempts, customs delays, customs rejection, recipient refusal, incorrect or incomplete address details, prohibited or restricted items, or other circumstances caused by the customer or recipient, where Shipex World has already incurred applicable costs.

Refund for Undelivered or Returned Shipments

If a shipment cannot be delivered and is returned to the sender, the refund, if applicable, will be calculated after deducting the shipping charges and other costs already incurred for transportation, return, customs, storage, handling, packaging, or other related services.

Refund Processing Time

Once a refund has been approved, the refundable amount will normally be processed within 7–10 working days.

The actual time for the amount to appear in the customer’s account may vary depending on the customer’s bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or other payment service provider.

Refund Method

Approved refunds will normally be made to the original payment method used for the transaction, subject to the applicable payment provider’s procedures.

Shipex World may request additional information or documentation where necessary to verify a refund request before processing it.

  1. Returned or Undelivered Shipments

If a shipment is returned or delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect or incomplete address, recipient refusal or unavailability, customs issues, missing documentation, prohibited or restricted goods, unpaid charges, or other circumstances attributable to the customer or recipient, the customer may be responsible for applicable return, storage, customs, handling, re-delivery, and other related charges.

  1. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipments and contents comply with all applicable laws, regulations, customs requirements, import and export restrictions, and other legal requirements.

Customers are also responsible for ensuring that all declarations and documents provided to Shipex World are genuine, accurate, and complete.

  1. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

Shipex World shall not be responsible for failure, delay, loss, or interruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government restrictions, customs actions, strikes, airline or carrier disruptions, severe weather, security incidents, infrastructure failures, or other force majeure events.
